Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Overview
The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City provides a network of comprehensive health care facilities and services for the Island of Abu Dhabi. The overall strategy of the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City is to improve the current status of health care delivery by expanding its services and technology, upgrading and improving the physical condition of its existing facilities, combining its health care resources for a more efficient model of health care delivery, increasing its current bed capacity to accommodate the needs of its patients, and create a system for health care professionals to work as one team within the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and under the guidance of the Health Authority - Abu Dhabi. The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City employs approximately 4000 staff from different nationalities.
