Supporting The Sheikh Khalifa Medical Pavilion’s commitment to provide quality medical care, the purchasing department will strive to ensure that the products and services it procures will arrive in a timely fashion, in the correct form, at the optimum price, whilst maintaining a professional and ethical relationship with its suppliers.
Description of Services/Programs:
The purchasing department is responsible for the procurement of all products and services required by the SKMC Pavilion facility, including all inventory and non-inventory supplies. The purchasing department is solely authorized to commit hospital funds for any purchase. The committal is accomplished by the issuance of a purchase order signed by the department manager or authorized designee. In order to perform the above we adhere to the policies and procedures issued by the General Authority for Health Services for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The department also maintains a comprehensive catalogue library of available products in the UAE, which enables us to provide product and price information to hospital departments as and when required.
