Al Nahyan Maternity and Childhood Health Center of SKMC Celebrates the World health Day on Monday 07 April 2008
Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) managed by Cleveland Clinic celebrates the World Health Day (WHD) on Monday, 07 April 2008. The focus of the celebration is to raise awareness on protecting children’s health from climate changes which include the effects of hot weather (sun burns, dehydration), infectious diseases, using water wisely … etc.
Physicians at the Al Nahyan Maternity and Childhood Health Center will be presenting lectures to mothers about protecting their children from infectious diseases and sunburns. All mothers are invited to attend.
Moreover, the Health Education and Promotion Department at SKMC will be distributing handouts to SKMC visitors and patients, and will be posting health messages highlighting the WHD theme. The handouts will concentrate on infectious diseases, sunburns and wise usage and preservation of water.
